MULTI PURPOSE GENERATOR 

REQUIREMENT

A lot of equipment in the rural areas are operated use manually wherein some human effort is put in like the Small grain mill, Potter wheel, A blacksmiths bellow, Chaff cutters etc.  The rural areas also have a problem of electricity for lighting and suffer from lack of light, to mitigate this issue a small generator was designed which can be attached to several such manual machines, the generator so attached produces electricty when the equipment is used. The generated electricity  can be stored in a small battery pack and used for lighting up a lamp for a rural home.

TARGET AREA / POPULATION

The target area for this system is in all places where manual machines are used and electricity is not available or is erratic.

INNOVATION and DESIGN FACTOR

The innovation factor in the system are ;

• Creation of a very low load factor generator

• Designing of a generator with a long life of atleast 15 years.

• Designing a compact , rugged and low load generator .

• Designing of a ZERO service system to ensure long life ( battery change required )
