PORTABLE TENT LIGHT PACK

REQUIREMENT

Soldiers, special forces, rangers etc who are on the move in the field use tents to camp overningt as a part of their work. Lighting is a critical requirement in the night. Lighting for tents specially for the military and such forces is a major task and generators are used to power them. Carrying of generators has logistic problems when only lighting is required. A requirement was seen to provide a simple light weight individual lighting pack for each soldier who would use it in his own tent. The unit was to be charged through multiple options like electricity, vehicle or solar power and the light must operate for 6 hours per day for over a week on a single charge, occupy very less space and also be light weight. A lighting pack was innovated and  designed keeping all these parameters in mind.
